POSTDOCS - MIXED REALITY & ACCESSIBILITY
The Connected Experiences (Cx) Lab at Cornell Tech is hiring a postdoctoral researcher to work on projects that make mixed reality experiences accessible for people with all abilities. You will be working closely on research with faculty in human-computer interaction (Shiri Azenkot), computer vision (Serge Belongie), as well as other faculty in the Cx Lab and our collaborators at Verizon and Yahoo.
Start date: Flexible, but no later than July 2019, with preference to candidates who can start earlier
Location: The Cornell Tech campus in New York City
Duration: 1 year appointment with potential for second year renewal
Experience and Qualifications
[required] A PhD in computer science or information science working in HCI, computer vision, or related areas
[recommended] Experience developing mixed reality applications
[recommended] Experience designing artifacts for people with diverse abilities
